I'm sitting in the Las Vegas airport with some time to kill before my flight. I was here for the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International conference and trade show. It was an intense five days of seminars, speakers, and networking. This was my first time attending the conference and I was awed and inspired by all of the talented photographers. Highlights for me were hearing Jay Maisel, Cliff Mautner and Australia's Jerry Ghionis. They each are masters of light, composition and timing, with an amazing ability to create extraordinary images out of seemingly ordinary situations. Very inspiring!

It couldn't have come at a better time, as wedding season is about to kick into high gear. I'm really excited for my April weddings (My-Ly & Hunter, Jessie & Bob, Jennifer & Carlos, Elise & Derek). Stay tuned for pics.
