Lucy and Joe had a wonderful wedding day, surrounded by their very loving friends and families. After the ceremony at Sacred Heart Chapel in Bowie, we headed to the gorgeous Franciscan Monastery in northeast DC. What a stunning place for pictures! The gardens and columned architecture provided a great backdrop for formal pictures and some romantic shots of the bride and groom. The fun continued at the reception in the monastery’s St. Francis Hall. The crowd was treated to a perfectly-choreographed ballroom dancing performance by the “Gourmet Dancers,” a group of friends, including Joe’s parents, who love to dance when they all get together. Joe and Lucy jumped in on the second song and wowed the crowd with their dancing prowess.

Everyone had a great time and I was honored to be there to document the day. Congratulations Joe and Lucy!
