Swim Class

Ryan is getting an early start on his Olympic training (watch out Michael Phelps). We had our first swim class last week and he did great. He seemed a little leery throughout the class, but he didn't cry once so we're counting that as a success!

Happy Father's Day

I just wanted to wish a Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. It also happens to be my first Father's Day as a dad. Since I'm usually the one taking the pictures, I figured today would be a good day to have my picture taken. Here's a great shot of me and Ryan that Carolyn took today. I love it!

And here's one I took of my grandfather holding Ryan. I love the way he's looking at his great-grandson.

Fun With Spoons

Ryan had his first experience with semi-solid food the other day. We had a lot of fun and I think he really enjoyed the 3% of the rice cereal that actually made it into his mouth.

Ryan couldn't decide whether to eat or smile for the camera. So he did both at the same time.

Yes, it IS hard to keep food in your mouth when you smile all the time...

Cindy & Tad at Woodlawn Manor

It threatened to rain all day for Cindy and Tad's wedding at Woodlawn Manor in Sandy Spring, MD. I've shot there once before and it poured all day then too! I must be bad luck, and it's too bad because Woodlawn Manor is a beautiful place to get married. How cool is this green barn door?

Meghan & Bill

I promise that I've been photographing more than just my son. I haven't been updating this blog with my work as much, but I will be better about posting updates. Just a reminder that my wedding images can be seen on the Love Life Images blog and go up more quickly. So many blogs, so little time!

Meghan and Bill had a fabulous wedding in April at the Baltimore Basilica with a reception following at the elegant Engineer's Club of Baltimore.

Vote for Ryan

A local radio station is running a Baby Idol contest to find the cutest baby in the DC area, so of course we had to enter Ryan. It is our completely unbiased opinion that he should win hands down, but we need your help. The 50 babies with the most votes by this Friday advance to the next round. If you think Ryan is deserving of the title, please vote for him this week. You will need to create an account to vote, but that's a small price to pay for the good karma that will come your way.
