I’ve always loved pets and photography, but it wasn’t until I adopted my own dogs and started photographing them around the house that I even considered becoming a pet photographer. Most of the pet photography I’d seen involved props, costumes and posing. But my favorite images of my dogs were the ones that captured them naturally… napping on the couch, chasing balls in the yard, or just gazing out the window. Thus, FidoJournalism was born.
Through my FidoJournalism pet photography, I’ve found an outlet to share my passion with others. As the name suggests, my style is primarily documentary (or photo-journalistic), and I aim to capture your pets’ in their natural environments with a relaxed photo session that reflects their true personalities. FidoJournalism pet portrait sessions are shot on-location, wherever you and your pets enjoy spending time together. Session fees start at $250.
